The Pregnancy Help and Information Center
is here to answer any questions you may have. The PHI Center offers several ways for you to get the information you need.

Your calls are always welcome at 850-222-7177.
If you would rather submit your question online, you can do so by typing it into the box below and clicking the "Submit" button. No information about who submits the question will be gathered, so if you DO want someone to e-mail or call you directly, you will need to provide your e-mail address OR phone number at the end of your question along with the words "OK to e-mail me" or "OK to call me". You may be as specific in your instructions to us as you need to be in order to preserve your confidentiality, and remember that all calls are free and confidential and our trained staff and volunteers are compassionate and non-judgmental.

Often the question you have has been asked before, so we've compiled some of the most commonly asked questions and answers in the list below.

Q: I think I may be pregnant. How can I find out for sure?
A: You can purchase an over the counter pregnancy test from a local supermarket or drug store and follow the instructions printed on the box. If you are still not sure of the results, you can call the PHI center to set up an appointment for a free test.

Q: I can't afford a crib for my new baby. She has to sleep in bed with me and neither of us is getting much rest. What can I do?
A: The PHI center can provide you with a crib. Call and ask about our Stork Room which provides assistance with baby clothes and furniture, diapers, and formula. The PHI center also provides help and information on caring for your baby. Read the You and Your Baby section of this web site for more information now.

Q: I had an abortion a few months ago and I can't stay focused. I cry a lot. Is this normal?
A:
You may be suffering from PAS (Post Abortion Syndrome). We offer post abortion help and have trained staff and volunteers who are familiar with this condition. You can call the PHI center and get free help.

Q: I 'm 15 and my boyfriend wants me to have sex with him? I think I am ready but I'm not sure. I'm a little confused right now because I love him a lot but I don't want to get pregnant.
A:
The most important thing to remember is that this decision is up to you and no one else. You are in charge. Don't ever let anyone pressure you into having sex.

Read the information in the "Thinking About Having Sex" section of this web site or call the PHI Center to talk to someone you can trust.
